Oh , if we only could have stayed longer!! Tremendous weather. Tranquil view. Awsome accomodation. Best site to see the stars from the hot tub on the deck.
We spend a restful time with our adult children, while visiting family on the island. Time to rebook for next year.
My bridesmaids and I just returned from a fantastic weekend at Orca View. I can't say enough about what a lovely place you have. The hot tub was the perfect place to chat and watch the ocean. We were thrilled to see a pod of orcas and listen to them breathe. To those of us hearing it for the first time, it was absolutely mesmerizing. The lodge was the perfect size for us to gather around and play games and chat, and it was also big enough for everyone to find some private relaxation. Your neighbours are lovely people as well.
Thank you for opening your home to others. We will be back and we will refer Orca lodge to friends and family for any season.
We enjoyed our stay at Orcaview very much. True to name, we saw Orca pods from the deck on most days of our stay (some even venturing inside the rocks). The house was very comfortable and has a view to die for. We spent the week hiking, cycling, and kayaking, and the hot tub was used daily. Pender Island is a beautiful, relaxing place to spend a week, and Orcaview is a great place to stay. We hope to return soon!
What a wonderful family retreat! Accomodations are fantastic - comfortable and all the extras included. We enjoyed seeing the orcas, seals, sea lions, deer in the yard and all the little creatures at the beach. Thanks so much Terry & Charlene. We highly recommend Orca View Lodge to all!
We really enjoyed our time at Orca View. Saw the whales 4 out of 7 days. Absolutely amazing orca shows - breaching and spy hopping - all so close to the deck. Pender Island was great. Really enjoyed the freshly bbqd prawns we got from the marina. Can't wait to come back - thanks for a wonderful visit!
Beautiful Island - Lodge is spacious and well decorated. The view from the main living area, and deck, is spectacular. I had a great time - was tough going back home. I'm looking forward to a return visit.
If only we had more time to spend here! Kayaking was amazing and the weather was perfect. We need to come back so we can study the view more thoroughly.
The good stuff: The house layout, the view, the couches, the fireplace, all the new furnishings and appliances. Not to mention how well-equipped it is - the only thing I needed that you hadn't supplied was a shower cap!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at OrcaView. The house had the perfect configuration for our group. The house was nicely appointed, and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances etc. There is even a stereo with CD player! The thing we enjoyed the most about the house is the view. Our stay on Pender Island was quite restful and relaxing, thanks mostly to the wonderful accommodation. I would definitely recommend OrcaView. Heather
